--------------------
Hi Guys! I'm Jey, I'm here to help take some load off of draw2much and will be here to help you with your Windows 8/8.1/10 UC-Logic/Monoprice/Huion/Yiynova issues!
NOTE: I JUST DELETED MUCH OF THE FAQ, I WILL BE FILLING IT BACK OUT WITH NEW INFO AS TIME PASSES.

Now, UC-Logic technology is used in many brands, including MonoPrice, Huion, and SOME Yiynova tablets and screens. These tablets require a battery as Wacom has patented there battery-less technology. Not to worry, these batteries last months at a time, mine lasted about a year of doodling and scribbling. They are pretty light too.
Ifyou want, you can get a battery-less pen from Huion's website (it's rechargeable)

Many alternative tablet brands, including MonoPrice, Huion and SOME Yiynova tablets and screens use UC-Logic digitizer technology.
The main difference between these tablets and Wacom is:
1) Lack of Eraser (set a hotkey on the tablet to erase)
2) Pen battery

You may think "eww the battery will be heavy"
Nope.
The battery acts as a good weight and allows the pen to sit more naturally in you hand and is better for new tablet users (in my opinion)

Other than that, everything's the same (well...other than the fact if SO much cheaper.)

but other than that, LETS BEGIN!

"I just bought this Monoprice/Yiynova tablet and the pressure sensitivity is horrible"
There default pens for monoprice and yiynova (and possibly others) aren't that great, You have two options get the Monoprice Replacement Pen (I use one of these) or get the Huion Pen.
I personally suggest the Huion pen; It is avaliable in Battery and Rechargeable flavors. If you are looking for an Intuos Style pen, The Huion Rechargeable is the way to go thanks to it's light weight.
The Monoprice pen is also a good option, however, it is a little short which may make the pen feel heavy even though it isn't.
Huion Tips with pen holder: www.huion-tablet.com/product/p… You can get the same product on ebay for only $9 free S&H
JUST IN! YOU CAN BUY HUION NIBS FROM EBAY! ($8 for 10 free S&H)
--Monoprice nibs are compatable with the Huion pens (Info taken form Huion site) and are less than a dollar**. They are a little more rounded at the end and fit a bit tight...The Huion has a pointier tip and you might like that!(These tips last forever it seems...almost a year and I'm still on my first)
**Monoprice shipping alone is a bit over $7 so you should just get the correct tips/nibs anyways!
